MinnesotaHelp’s Transportation Link

TransportationLink

Need to help people find transportation services so they can stay in their community? Minnesota has developed a new Transportation Link on their Public Portal that lets users search for ride services, resources to help pay for rides, and help arranging a ride.

The new Transportation Link makes it easy to compare transportation services, too. People can compare cost, payment options, transportation accessibility, and service hours. And if you need help while using MinnesotaHelp.info, live chat is available from 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Development of the Transportation Link was funded by a federal grant to the Minnesota Board on Aging, Minnesota Department of Transportation, and Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs as part of the Veterans Transportation and Community Living Initiative. The goal of the initiative is to make it easier for U.S. veterans, active service members, military families, and the public to learn about and arrange local transportation services that connect them to work, education, health care, and other vital community services. The new Transportation Link also maps every County Veterans Service Office (CVSO) in the state. North Light created county outlines and labels to make it easy to find the CVSO locations, using third-party data and the Google Maps API.

MinnesotaHelp.info® is a service of the MN Area Agencies on Aging and the Minnesota Board on Aging.
