North Light News

Some newsletters are just extended product and service ads. North Light News is a community resource. This online newsletter reports on our customers’ successes and challenges; explores new developments in information and referral; passes along tech tips; and provides a forum where Resource House users can learn from each other's experience and innovations. North Light News appears whenever there's news to pass along, or in response to popular demand.

Don’t Take Our Word for It

Is North Light News genuinely helpful to Resource House users? Judging from the feedback we’ve received, the answer is an unequivocal Yes! Here’s just one of many rave reviews.

Client Quotes

"North Light’s online newsletter is a fast and efficient way of sharing helpful information with all Resource House users. When we wanted to announce Napa County’s new public access database of community services, Wendy was extremely helpful in connecting us with other customers, who generously answered my long list of questions on how they announced their systems to the public. Wendy condensed this “e-mail-a-thon” of inspired ideas and suggestions, and published the results in the January, 2006 issue of North Light News.

With input from the Resource House community, we launched a very successful NapaHelp slogan-writing contest. The contest challenged some 1000 employees of key stakeholder groups to do something they’d never done before—write a marketing slogan—while it simultaneously built awareness for NapaHelp.

The contest even had a therapeutic side effect. The grand prize winner committed herself to overcoming her intense fear of heights in order to enjoy her prize: a hot air balloon ride over the Napa Valley!"
