Resource House has been working for the Ohio Department of Aging since March 2004, when North Light won an RFP to implement its ConnectMeOhio project.

ConnectMeOhio now operates as a central Website for providers and members of the public in search of programs and services for people of all ages living with disabilities. The site provides service eligibility tools, news, legislative issues and other features of interest to people with disabilities and their families.

North Light's partners in this project included The Lewin Group, which engaged consumer and provider stakeholders; and the Public Interest Media Group, which developed a public relations campaign for the project.

"We chose Resource House because its functionalities were exactly what we had in mind to reach Ohio consumers. We wanted a system that was easy to use and offered resources in a logical manner. Accessibility was very important to us in order to create a Website focused on disability resources."
